The only thing I would like to know from zos is this. Is there a way of making no limit on CP in PVE? I play on Xbox and I currently have 858 CP I know of ppl with over 1000 and a few with close to 1500 I understand why they put a cap on CP after the 3rd update I believe and mostly because the game was new on console and there was the gods of pvp "PC Transfers" and I understand that there are always going to be new players coming into the game and would like to enjoy pvp in CP and none CP but why place a cap on CP for PVE?

I second that . They have basically removed CP from PVP anyways. Only 1 CP campaign on PS4 & it doesn't exist in BG. The whole CP nerf doesn't really make sense when you remove pvp from the equation. Open it up
    PS4 NA

    no.

there has to be a limit. you don't just get a point to spend in a tree, you get a small boost to all three of your attribute pools with each cp point spent.

by having no limit, the divide between the vets and new players would become so wide that newer players would never again be allowed to do end game content because the bar for what the masses deemed 'acceptable' would forever be moving north.

Also I know ppl might say you would have to spend 3k to respec your CP cuz you would lose what you have in your trees because of there being no cap but also understand this if you are playing in PVE and wanting to go into PVP you will change your CP no matter what there are many many many trees you will put points into for PVE that you won't for PVP and same for PVP and PVE

They need to remove CP entirely. really makes it harder to introduce and balance new and interesting sets /traits when a lot of interesting interactions are unlocked passively via CP (stacking effects). If it was only mag/stam/hp boosts that'd be a better option than what it is currently. Buuut, players would be in an uproar if they did so,

The cap was put on because it makes people waaaaaayOP

You could do a trialor Vet solo easily
It has nothing todo with catch up.

I've always thought it would be better if our skill lines progressed instead of some account level passives

How would there be that divide? Because the content would still be the same all PVE endgame content scaleshould to CP 300 so how would that stop new players from doing endgame content? Plus I don't know a single guild that would allow anyone with ZERO CP to get into a group for a trial for VMAW that would be ridiculous
