ESO Morrowind can I run there?

Hey so I dont have the ESO Morrowind expansion, so that means I cant teleport there.

But is it possible to run there or horse simulator to the East, to Morrowind.
If I'm not mistaken the Red Mountains is in Stonefalls. Red Mountains is where Dagoth Ur lives, and thats the Heart of Morrowind.
Possibility that I can just go there and not have access to the traders and wayshrines, but have access to the land and monsters and loot from monsters because its in Stonefalls?

No, you're thinking of a different, but similarly named volcano, all of the expansion is on an island separate from the morrowind mainland.

Ash Mountain is in Stonefalls. Red Mountain is in Vvardenfell, which is the island north of Stonefalls. Slaughterfish will prevent you from getting there by swimming.

Look at the map. Vvardenfell is not Stonefalls. You can't swim across the inner sea. And why would they make it so you can still get there without buying the expansion? Nobody would pay $40-$60 just for the wayshrines lol

Ah you are right, I never knew that about Morrowind before, how vardenfell is an island all to itself.

I thought they just made it like that in Morrowind so that you know where the edge of the map is, aka the waterline. Thats how they did it back in the days of making games.

I thought that was purpose of it, back in old school MMORPGs you had to run everywhere, sometimes took hours because of death, so I thought they gave content free but if you didnt pay, you had to run all way over there.

ESO is not the type of MMO where you look at it and think yourself "can i run there" and a few minutes later you're there. It's more of a theme park ride, you simply ogle at it, see and no touch. WoW for instance say if I see a mountain most of the time I can mount up and fly up there or whatever else i am looking at.

    LOL

That's funny, come to think of it, Elder Scrolls games, you do go anywhere, its not an ogle at it and no touch

The thing is, verticle axis capability, many MMORPGs engine fail at this, I think ESO falls under this category.
I know GW2 tried, but look at underwater fights which is verticle axis reliant, it didnt do so well, and ESO doesnt even have underwater fights.
EQ attempted underwater fights but like GW2 it failed.
ESO hasnt even attempted it, no air attacks, no water attacks, verticle axis? doesnt exist in ESO engine.

I think WoW is one if not the only one who has become successful at utilizing verticle axis in the game. Because you fly and go under water.
