The upset over Templars was never about their personal sustain. It was about their ability to sustain the group.

Part of that has been changed (speculatively in large due to the outrage on the forums), but yes, overall sustain has gone down for everyone.

Healers use Resto Staves, which return a lot of Magicka on heavy attacks.
