If you don't know where to grind, that means that you are not ready for grinding.

There are some buffs that can make a big difference. All purple crafted training gear (80-88% XP boost), partner in group with 1 other person (10%), ESO Plus bonus (10%), pledge of mara (10%), Cyrodiil enemy keep bonus (up to 13%), XP scrolls or ambrosia XP potion (50 - 150%).

It's possible to level up from 1 to 50 in a few hours, but these days you level up fast enough just playing in PVP - you can do it in a week or two and it's a lot more fun. I find that grinding isn't really necessary anymore unless you want some specific armor set item.

First type grind spot or exp eso on youtube and find by yourself.

The best way if you are strong enough and brave is imperial city (SEWERS), very very good spot for blue and lot of tel var / gold to get. This is simply the best, overall.

Then the safest way to xp but not very fast is to farm anchor, Alikr or Auridon, if my *** memory is correct.

Skyreach is the second place but need a self heal and to be two in a group, you can solo but hard below lvl 20 (and according to your class)

If you are blue go for lipsand tarn in Cyrodiil or in Alikr Sentinel beach and Necropolis motalion.

If you are yellow go for cracked woodcave in Cyrodiil.

If you are red god to the rift, lost prospect.

Otherwise, go for public dungeon (wrothgarr for example)

I go with the equipment mentioned, treasure chest found Training sets mostly, and do all the lowbie islands quests (these quest give more xp) grabbing all skyshards and mage guild books. Then I run through regular maps grabbing all books and skyshards, which means doing all delves for exp along the way.

This way, you get skill points and mage guild levels whilst leveling. If you don't want the mage guild skill levels, it goes slightly quicker, but those give you a leg up when skills are inevitably nerfed and you need to switch to a mag based build.

Consider that it's actually possible to level up from 1 to 50 in a couple of days or even less; but then, if you want to effectively play your character, you will need many more things (skill points, lorebooks for mages guild, dungeons for undaunted passives...) that will require you to do the contents you are skipping now...

So, why don't do these contents from the start, levelling in a couple of weeks a character that then is really ready for playing?

Zombies at Alikr Desert beach, boring as f... and crowdy in rush hours but laters its amazing spot, just listen to some audiobook or watch a movie on second screen. With good spot rotation you can grind there without any pauses for hours + there are just zombies no ranged so faster kills + faster fighters guild exp + city is right beside of the spot so you can sell and repair (training gear) in 1 minute and go back to grinding. I find it much faster than skyreach, but as I said only when not in rush hours.

I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

agreed. by the tim your ready to start making new toons for pvp/end game pve content you should already know the game very well. enough to know the grind locations.
i use 1 of 4-5 lesser known spots. and i can grind a toon solo in about 5-6 hrs of gametime.
much much quicker if i have a buddy to carry me
