Launcher stalls at "Loading"

Brand new pc, running windows 10, as the title states the launcher will not proceed past loading. The Game consultant won't run either, I get a "MSVCR100.dll is missing" error. I've tried all the steps listed in support and cannot send an email in without a game consultant file. I've read google and I've watched youtube videos without any luck.

That is related to Microsoft Visual C++. You need to see which one is installed on your computer. You will need to install the 2010 or 2012 Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package.

Because it is a new PC it doesn't have some files that were used in earlier versions of Windows.

I have the same issue since this morning and Didn't change my computer in the night ... yesterday (and since 3 years) it worked fine. but now ...

I'll make some research (I have Microsoft visual c++ 2005 and later versions). but if someone have a solution I'll be happy to hear about it.

My issue turned out to be the missing MSVCP100.dll file(the previous R was a typo). Luckily I had a previous eso install on my old hard drive so I tracked down the file and copy and pasted it over and both the game consultant and the launcher ran fine afterwards. Good luck Tunjaar, I know what a chore it is chasing whatever leads you find on Google and Youtube.
