I guess I would have to buy Morrowind, but the other DLCs seem optional, since they are all pretty expensive, I wonder if they are worth it.

Is there like a gold edition which includes Morrowind and all DLCs? Or would I have to buy them all seperatly?

And how is the game doing anyway?
Did they fix the PvP problems with proc sets? Or is DPS still >>>>>>> All so that you either play a Nightblade Assassin or play Dead man 99% of the time in PvP?

If you sub you get the crafting bag, extra bank space and all the dlc's free (to use). Buying Morrowind is optional.

The game is full of people.

Someone else can answer the other questions better than I could.

But I guess only as long as I pay 15 Bucks a month I can use the DLCs, right?
Kinda sounds like a bad deal, considering I COULD get the ESO gold edition for 24 bucks, unlocking the DLCs permanently...

The Gold Edition comes only with 4 DLCs and is at the ESO store for 60 bucks (offers come and go for less and some other gaming sites have it cheaper I have heard), and yes they will be permanently yours to play without subscription. You will have to buy Morrowind upgrade separately (if you're buying the other DLCs), which is another 40 bucks in the ESO store (no bundle includes Morrowind too, and it's not available in the Crown Store, as the other DLCs are).

If you're a crafter or enjoy collecting things, the sub may give you some nice extras (for a lot of people a must) as double bank space (freeing your bags = less runs to town) and an infinite crafting back (where all the crafting materials go, liberating your bag and bank space for even more item collection). You get 1500 crowns to purchase things from the Crown Store too I think.

If you think your visit will be temporary again, I would probably pay the sub, so I could try all DLCs for $15. No tryout for Morrowind, though, so you'll need to buy that one anyway. If after a "trial period" (one, two months?) you decide to stay, then maybe unsub and get the DLCs? That's what I'd do I think.

Pick up gold for like £20, if you get really into the game and find you want the crafting bag/bank upgrade then start to sub after like a month. Subbing gives you a 10% experience boost as well.

Existing account, I pressume? What you need is the Guilds and glory pack for 5500 crowns ($/€ 5,00 cheaper than Morrowind). It contains the following DLC's:
    • Orsinium
    • Imperial city
    • Thieves guild
    • Dark brotherhood
Doesn't have Shadows of the Hist, but it's supposed to be the smallest of the DLC's, so I don't think you'll miss much. It's also not included in the Gold edition anyway.

While I can't confirm it, I think the gold edition requires you to create a new account (I could be wrong here). The pro is that you'll get 500 crowns and a pala-something horse.

    New account: Gold edition.
Existing account: Guilds and Glory pack.

My subjective opinion is that if you are looking to go cheap then I would just get Orsinium and Morrowind and skip the rest.

The Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood require you to do stupid random quests to level the skill line in order to advance the story which is really irritating IMO.

As for PvP, it depends on who you listen to... I do think that "ganking" as a Nightblade is much less of a thing now. I can't even remember the last time it happened to me.
    Playing since beta...

ESO Plus I find as an explorer who likes grabbing anything he sees is a must, the unlimited inventory for herbs and all crafting items is a must I thinks.
