Warden - Pet taming

How many of you would like the wardens to have an ability to tame (combat ofcourse) pets from the wild ?

When I say "tame" I mean any wild animal like wolf or bear or even mudcrab can be tamed by warden which will in fact act as a permanent combat pet

I have seen this feature in other games like WoW and in GW2.

The ability to tame any wild animal makes the class more refreshing IMO and not to mention a great role playing potential also.

I do think it would be cool if all the classes had some sort of pet taming quest, maybe a few different choices per class. I am thinking Warden with Bears, birs of prey, stuff like the skills he has amd variations. For a nightblade maybe creatures that are more stealthy like assassin beetles or dunerippers. Sorcerers get maybe daedra, atronachs or a daedroth. Dragonknight I am think wolves, kagouti, etc. Not sure about templar. Basically some creatures that sort of make sense for the class and its lore in the world.

Nightblade: undead, their murder victims (because every Necromancer wannabe plays a Nightblade)

    Templar: humanoid NPC

Though I really don't think they can implement a complex system as this one without introducing new and exciting bugs.

Actually thought about this. First I do like the idea of Warden and/or a true pet class having the ability to tame wild creatures.

My problem is though I am enjoying the Warden, I personally don't view it as a true Pet class. There is no ability to send or recall (to your location) the pet. There are no defining pet skills. In early WoW days you tamed pets for their stats and abilities, granted Blizzard ruined that ability due to whining, but here as the Warden is designed, I submit that taming a pet would simply be for the skin. Which is OK, but I was hoping for more.

In the end if Pet Taming was a avalible it would be great, but I would rather have a true pet class. That's my two cents worth.

This is probably the most nature-themed class we will ever get, so hey why not?

I'm thinking we are likely to get other skins, maybe even other animals entirely as pets. Unfortunately the framework is already there and it isn't taming. It would work like the grey slate bear and the skins would likely be sold on the crown store. I would be okay with that.

Basically replace the bear with another creature. Sounds cool but I think Zos is going to go with skins instead.

Make it so that the Warden needs to reduce the life of the target creature to 10% or something, then cast? Or, simply make the summon skill only summon from the animal list for the zone they are in?

What they should've done was replace the cliff racer with an actual pet summon imo, to copy Sorc 2 pets

Make it a skill line so people can choose to play with pets. I know plenty of magic and especially stamina sorcs who hate their pets.

Iiiiiii would just like to see more pets that come from warden abilities. I mean, the sorc beats the warden blatantly when it comes to combat pets.

    I'd love to see:

Sleet Storm and its morphs summon an ice wraith. (for 15 seconds)

Secluded Grove and its morphs summon a spriggan for the duration that heals an ally (similar to how the chokethorn monster set works)

Natures grasp have a morph that summons a chokethorn from where the player originally starts, that functions similarly to a DK chain (pulls an enemy to it).

Scorch and morphs debuff enemies with a synergy that allows allies (including yourself) to summon a shalk to fight with them.

Swarm and morphs debuff enemies with a synergy that allows allies (including yourself) to summon a fetcher swarm off of the enemy (but halts the ability)
