Heavy armor skill not showing

Xbox n/a, started my warden and crafted a set of seducers, heavy chest med legs and the rest light. It shows my light and med skill lines but no heavy and I see when it levels on the screen as I'm grinding but it's not on my skill tree. Anyone else having this issue?

You must equip 3 pieces of a specific armor type to unlock the skill-line

But it still levels with just the one piece?

That is incorrect.

You will still level up the heavy armor line with one piece equipped, regardless of whether or not you've "unlocked" it on your character sheet. Obviously you will level it faster with more pieces equipped, but whether or not you've unlocked it has exactly zero effect on how fast you level it.

I thought it had said the my heavy had ranked to level 8, that's why I was confused

It levels up as long as you wear 1 piece, but need to quip 3 to show the skill line. Just equip some picked up bits then put your levelling gear back on.
