Hey guys! With the new battlegrounds it seems like everyone is running selene, viper, eternal hunt....I wanted to try something different. Let me know how viable you think this would be.
2h and bow setup. Sheer venom active on back bar, senche active on front, and 2 pc Skoria. As long as i wait til the first poison inject tic, I can swap bars and sheer venom persists(tested this the other day.) I like to open with cloak, heavy bow, poison inject, then let off some light attacks til spectral bow is up.
I figure with poison inject, sheer venom, and damage poison that would be 3 dots, so good damage from afar with a skoria here and there, and good burst up close with Senche. I end up with like 21k health, 30kish stam, and 2k stam recovery, so it seems viable. Let me know your thoughts guys, and have a great day!

Woah, i could use the sharp 2h sheer venom axe i have up front, open with vicecannon poison inject, gap close to killers blade/reverse slice to proc sheer venom, that would be a ton of dots! Thx for the idea bro! Now i just need a vicecanon bow, say some prayers to rngesus for me

I haven't tested to confirm, but I'm guessing that you could have Sheer Venom active on your 2h only and still proc with Poison Injection. As long as you are on your 2h bar when the DOT begins I bet it would proc SV. Then you are free to put Vicecannon on your bow bar

✭✭✭✭Also I've never used Vicecannon so I can't test this part, but if you do have it I would love to know whether you have to be hidden to get the proc or if you just have to tap crouch.0 -
Sol, you sir, are a genius! I have never used vice either, i would think you would want to be actually cloaked/hidden so you get the guaranteed crit to proc it, ill let you know either way once i get my hands on all the gear and do some tests. Thanks again for the ideas guys.0

Any attack from cloak will proc vice cannon. Good luck on your RNG! It's worth it

✭✭For battlegrounds its iffy, any templars and your dots are worthless. Sheer Venom is broken and stops nightblades from cloaking... which may get you in trouble if abused. Vicecannon you need to be in actual stealth which i would say is a waste for how fast paced bg's are.PS4 NA DC0 -
Hmmm i feel you on the fast paced part. I have heard about a bug with vice canon when fighting DK's specifically, but how is sheer vebom bugged, ive been using it for a while and havent noticed any problems cloaking at all.Edited by Darth_Savage on June 8, 2017 12:30AM0

✭✭@Darth_Savage The sheer venom dot prevents enemy nightblades from cloaking when its suppose to be surpressed by cloak. You can cloak fine. Its technically good for you but not intentional.PS4 NA DC0 -
@GreenSoup2HoT ah gotcha, hope they fox that then, i hate being pulled out of cloak by BS stuff, just curious btw, if someone is channeling a heavy and i cloak before they fire it, should it bot hit me? Was dueling a friend and i tried to cloak out of his heavy flame staff attacks and they tracked through cloak, could have been lag or something i guess.0

✭✭@Darth_Savage Heavy attacks are suppose to miss yes if you cloak. All single target abilities should miss. Even Ambush or Crit Rush would misfire but lag causes issues.

Jaiden✭✭✭You want more dots, go with spawn of mephala monster set. Open with poison injection heavy attack from stealth. Proc sheer venom, vice, mephala, jump in duel wield rending slashes with axe. Moar dots moar dots. Tons of points into thermaturge.
