Delete Save data on XBox??

I'm having an issue with Hasty Retreat and Retreating Maneuvers and customer service told me to delete my Save Data files. This makes me nervous. I'd appreciate any input from you guys on this matter. I mean I assume they wouldn't steer me wrong but just want to make sure.

um, the Data saved on your machine is just the game settings you fool around with. What is there to be nervous about?

Okay then how would this help my issue with rapids and hasty not working? UM, I'm asking because I didn't know otherwise I wouldn't be asking.

It's just something to try but if you do this. Delete it locally and from the cloud

What isn't working with Hasty Retreat and Rapid Maneuvers? Are you trying to stack the speed buffs together?

All your actual Character and Account data are actually saved off of your Xbox on LIVE and ZOS's servers.

So you shouldn't lose anything character related by deleting ESO save files and reinstalling the game.

After re-installation, when you fire up ESO for the first time, you should get a message that LOVE is attempting to sync you account with ESO servers, which is what gets your character info back onto your HDD.

With modern LIVE and ESO, all of your info is actually saved on those other two companies servers. What is on your Xbox (i.e. your LIVE profile and your ESO Character data) is actually just a carbon copy of the actual accounts on LIVE and the ESO servers.

So, when you "Save" your game, you're actually just updating the info on ZOS's servers, and syncing your Xbox ESO account with the actual ZOS ESO account.

Neither one of them works, independently or together. This only occurred after the update. When I use either one of them I still move at normal speed. Rapids do seem to work when I'm mounted.

I do this after every update then a full shut down and restart. It's buggy if you don't. Last night lots couldn't connect without doing it after the patch.

No, the game will recreate all this data the first time it's launched.

Nope. It's literally the local setting cache that i do. So

From home highlight game
Hit start
Manage game
Scroll down to saved game
Highlight profile on right
Hit A
Delete from console only

Then hold power button down on console like 10 seconds for full shut down. Restart. As you open game it will sync that file again takes seconds.

I don't know it will fix your prob persay, but support got me to do it a few times so now i do as routine each update.

I want to send a video of my issue to customer service and they replied that multiple screen shots would be best. Soooo screen shots of me running slow? Okayyyy I guess.

Stupid question, but are you using movement speed increasing sets like Fjords?

No I'm not. Viper and NMG. And done nothing different after update except reallocating CP---I did make sure I still had the Windrunner passive unlocked. I tested it with guild mates standing around me, I ran normally then roll dodged---no change in my speed. Tried this also with rapids, still no change. Going to delete my saved data tonight and see if that helps. Hope they can fix this and all the other bugs soon.
