Now I do have some gear to get that may push my dps significantly higher than premorrowind, and that will be my dirty little secret, my old homestead setup will work out well for you.
I am running alcast setup, with some minor tweaks into the red tree, mostly some more points into quick recovery, the damage cp is exactly how he posted for now.
My gear:
2x kragh
5x spriggans
3x vo
Precise maelstrom dagger/sharp maelstrom axe
sharpened maelstrom's bow
The rotation is very very important that skills are uses in the correct order. Caltrops are not used as it is a dps loss in single target fights. You can argue all you want, but trust me on this, your dps will be lower every time.
My bar setups:
Bow
Endless hail/repentence/vigor/poison injection/potl/ crescent sweeps
Dw
Bloodcraze/restoring focus/rearming trap/flurry/biting jabs/rend
For raids you want to slot repentence for shards, since the synergy returns to the caster. For certain fights you might want quick cloak on instead of bloodcraze (rhakkat for example).
Now for the rotation on dps dummy, I start with trap on my dw bar, bar swap, endless hail, potl, poison inject, bar swap.
Then we move onto the actual dps rotation. First rotation includes an ultimate, so we'll use 1 less spammable. Additionally, we already applied trap, so we'll skip it.
Flurry/bloodcraze/light attack/flurry/rend/heavy attack/ 1x jabs
Now that we're all buffed up and our ultimate is out, we will continue onto our rotation until we get another ult. Before you swap to your bow bar, begin with flurry, so it'll look like:
Flurry/barhop/endless hail/light attack/potl/poison injection/bar hop
Always barhop after poison injection. Now the dw bar:
Flurry/trap/light attack/bloodcraze/heavy attack/jabs x2/flurry
And repeat with endless hail. You can barswap halfway through the final flurry on dw bar. please notice, that this setup is a slight modification of my homestead setup, amd zi have much bigger plans for my templar. But this should allow you to get pretty decent dps. If you die in a fight, simply replace jabs with heavy attacks and you'll be on your feet in no time.

Use TFS and caltrops please...
uhm normally, caltrops is my 3° or 4° skill for damage in combat metrics, fighting the skelly for testing. So, yes its important in ST, dont understimate it.
For this patch i recommend this build: http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/bythebeardofzeus-stamplar-dps-guide-morrowind-edition-vhof-approved/
It's a stamplar that we have in our raids and performs very well. The build is described in great details and I'm sure if you have more questions he will help out

Pre morrowind dropping caltrops was the difference betweem 38k dps and 33k dps. Morrowind with this setup in particular I'm getting 27-28k with caltrops amd 33k without. I'd also have to drop my sustain or potl for it. It has many, many, many viable uses on my bar, but is not at all necessary and often times kind of a loss. You should only use it in trash fights.

Why do u use rapid strikes and jabs . Keep jabs replace strikes
38k. 33k. 44k. I'm genuinely curious which random generator do you use for those numbers, but it is malfunctioning quite badly. CombatMetrics screenshots would do the job.Ep1kMalware wrote: »No, no, no. That is how you take a stamplar from 44k dps to 15k dps.Ihatenightblades wrote: »Why do u use rapid strikes and jabs . It's been verified by largest pve raid guilds on ps4. I'm done arguing, I'm taking the build down because It's not worth maintaining the thread anymore. I tried, it was an easy 33k dps with 0 sustain issues.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Don't let people get you down, be proud of your build! Everyone's so narrow minded but I've found the people that like to criticize other peoples ideas in the game are the ones that lack performance. People dismiss other peoples builds just because they think theoretically a different set would be better without testing it.
