Any help out there? Same thing happened awhile ago with many folks. I hit play and this error shows up.

✭August 2016 would have been between DB and One Tamriel. So not the Housing patch, or any particular patch at all. In fact, going through the forum Search function, this appears to have cropped up occasionally since release.
This seems to be related to a faulty launcher. The first step is to run the launcher's Repair utility and, if that doesn't work, delete and redownload your launcher. There is a mod post that goes through that process step by step here.
I also found this thread, which may offer another solution.
If all else fails, submit a support ticket. The support system is rather notorious for auto-responses though, so I'd try the above first. If you end up opening a ticket, be sure to keep responding to the emails so they don't close your ticket.
