I find it strange that in the Xbox support forum they blame Xbox Live while over on the PC forum they are having similar issues and on the Steam forum they are complaining as well.
xbox is always to blame. for everything. not just eso.

I have a theory. The Xbox Live service Interruption is almost like a self-fulfilling prophecy. What is happening is the problem is actually isolated to the eso servers. A lot of people are trying to log on and then they register a complaint with Microsoft. Then Microsoft puts up a service Interruption alert saying that some games with content purchased are having problems. Then the eso forums can point to the xbox.com site, stating that the problem is really with Xbox live.
Whenever this happens, other people and I have noticed that no other games have problems. All other content on our Xbox Works. Other digitally downloaded or digital purchase content seems to work. The problem seems to be isolated to ESO servers. But comma if enough people register problems then Microsoft puts it on their xbox.com status website. And then the eso forums can simply link to that. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
