Getting the most out of your cp a guide

The first thing you will want to remember for sure when spending is that values will round down so try to keep decimal values at lowest when finishing a skill allotment.

These are my defensive allotments for pve:

49 points in hardy =11.10%
49 points in elemental defender = 11.10%
16 points expert defender = 10.36% (mobs tend to hit with light and heavy attacks)
56 points in ironclad = 20.15%
The last 40 are quite flexible and spending them will depend greatly on class etc (example your character is a dk spend all 40 on medium, light, heavy armor focuses if sorcerer or night blade split the difference between the applicable focus and spell shield.

These are my regen allotments for pve:

75 points tenacity 14%
75 points mooncalf or arcanist depending on your main skill
The rest is mostly subjective to your playstyle just make sure you hit tumbling if you are a medium armor wearer. Healthy if heavy and place some in the other skills where needed for you.

These are my damage allotments for pve:

43 points in mighty or elemental expert anymore then that and it starts to become not worth it.
For the next allotments you will have to review your skills and determine which skills are direct damage and which are a damage over time. Rule of thumb as of now direct damage is anything that does not have a damage over time tick and the damage does not show up as orange numbers.
Example of mine dk dual wield stamina build 1 weapon set focuses on single target and buffing the other weapons set focuses on aoe damages.

66 points thaumaturge = 22.08% effecting the following rapid strikes, volatile armor spikes, blood craze, flawless dawnbreaker, noxious breath and venomous claw.
40 points master at arms = 16.02% effecting empowering chains, first hit of dawnbreaker.final hit of rapid strikes, steel tornado, first hit of blood craze and first hit of venomous claw.
20 points in precise strikes = 9.04% This can be higher or lower based on your critical hit chance. Anything under 50% i would stay at this or lower.
41 points piercing = 3442 physical penetration these leftover points can be applied really anywhere if you are going to use a large number of heavy and light attacks by all means put them all in physical weapon expert. Magic settings are basically these but using the magica tree instead you will notice all the same types of skills.

This allotment gives damage equal to to slightly higher then the previous 100 mighty etc stuff. I have minimal waste and good results on all characters except very high damage ones as they seem to lose damage reguardless on everything but a magica nightblade. This seems to keep all it's high damage ability then some.

Hopefully this helps anyone who is confused about new skills in cp or values of old skills.

as a stam warden and nightblade, this is almost exactly how I have my CPs spent.
