Dungeon Finder Bugged for Almost 4 Months...Embarrasing ZOS

I haven't played today since I'm still downloading update, but I'm assuming the dungeon finder will be in the same state when I log on. It seems that most the time when using the system you get a group, get ported to dungeon, then immediately removed from area. Usually you can just fast travel back but it seems that's always too much work for someone and they leave group, then everyone leaves and your left waiting 15 min to requeue followed by another 30 min to 1hr wait if your a dps to get into another group, just to repeat the same scenario. This is more than frustrating and has been going on for a whole quarter of a year. Frankly ZOS this should be embarassing to you that a major system in the game has gone broken like this for a period this long. I'm more than disappointed. Not only that buts its idiotic to think people are eager to spend money to upgrade a game that can go broken for this long.This has been an ongoing complaint in the community for months now and still no action has been taken to rectify the broken dungeon finder. This system has been broken since the release of homestead when they added a ready check to the system back in February. Still no word from dev's or ZOS to any posts related to this problem. Shame....shame......shame! When can we expect this to be solved???

    Also you dont get the random dungeon bonus a lot of the time now which also is a very big suck. Me and my old lady ran 4 randoms last night and she never got the random bonus. I tried with me as leader, her as leader, regrouping and never got the bonus...

    At least now we get FPS drops when someone declines, which is every 15 seconds. Comment: This is a buff, if your framerates were capped at 10 FPS

    Yeah thats been the game they've been playing for 4 months now. They've been to busy trying to spoon feed me their new morrowind product to give any sort of real response. Its intended to kick everyone from a group for a group finder? Really?? I'm thinking I next step is better business bureau and refund of my 2 morrowind purchases is the next step, I've tried putting tickets in and everything else. I cant be the only person effected by this either?

    so far on my side since last week 22nd patch i get no issues, i guess i got myself a different patch for not bitching ZoS works or i simply guess i'm lucky. :)

    I hate to complain myself, but this has been an ongoing issue. You on PC? This is on xbox its still broken. I've had days where I've spent a couple hours trying to get a group with no success. Its ridiculous. I'm at the point where I'm so frustrated with it the game has become unplayable. PVE is primarily what I like to do and this issue makes it nearly impossible to play group PVE content.

    How come other issues get a response from dev's like about the battleground not working, or the post on pet health regen, on same day as issue occurs and is posted, but I've seen multiple posts on this from multiple go ignored, not one response..... @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno

    Yeah thats true, it seemed more playable before homestead tho, the existing issues might have just got worse. At least I could get in a group before Homestead. Now its just get group, removing from area, player leaves, requeue and repeat. Not too bad if I'm on my tank or heal, but as a DPS you got a 30min to 1hr wait just to get into these groups that fail. Then 15 minute queue timer after that. Thats 45min to 1 hr and 15min for each ATTEMPT to run a dungeon, to me thats not an acceptable performance of this tool.

    Im sure other XBox users are having same issue..I feel most people dont run them anymore just cause its so inconvienient to or run with guilds if you have the option too. I've tried everything but havent found any way to not get removed from area as soon as you get to dungeon, then someone always leaves. Then the dungeon finder gets bugged and wont let you queue for another player.Truly disappointing. Does Xbox and PC dungeon finder work with no problems?

    Curious if you bought Morrowind? Hate to say it but if you did, you are supporting what ZOS does and how their game performs. If people keep buying their products whether its Morrowind or Crown Store items then they will never care that much about bugs. Customers who continue to spend money are showing they support the current state of ESO. You know they game is broken but continue to still support it. This isnt really just towards the OP but the playerbase in general. I decided not to buy Morrowind because i cant support what is happening in ESO currently and has been for a while now.

    I preordered it a while ago, its installing now while I'm at work. But I'm likely to request a refund if I dont get some sort of response. This has come up again and again on forums without one reply from ZOS.

    I hear you I'm about to cut off my supply to the ZOS gravy train. I'm sure it wont have an impact but like you said I'm not going to continue supporting this game that to me has become unplayable since I mostly PVE. I just find it unbelievable that after so many posts and complaints from the community that this issue has yet to be addressed after months...

    4 months could almost be excused if the problem were a complex one but 36 months?

    It must be an amazing fluke that every other MMO out there gets it right. It's like multiple miracles and only ESO is normal :)

    Ya other people said this issue has been going on since release, its been dramatically worse since homestead, where it was really affecting gameplay, and yet no news or even acknowledgment of the problem. I'm waiting another week for response from ZOS and then I'm filing complaint with better business bureau, I'd advise all of you to do the same. They dont like complaints on there tarnishing their reputation.

    Months Years. FTFY.
    Force weapon swap to have priority over EVERYTHING. Close enough.
    Make stamina builds even with magicka builds.
    Disable abilities while holding block.
    Give us a REASON to do dungeons more than once.
    Remove PVP AoE CAP. It is ruining Cyrodiil.
    Fix/Remove Forward Camps. They are ruining Cyrodiil.
    Impenetrability needs to REDUCE CRIT DAMAGE. Not negate entire builds.
    Werewolf is not equal to Vamps/Bats.

    My only guess is that since this is an issue that players can sort of ''evade'' via guilds/friends/not using the group finder, they thought that if they ignored it long enough players would eventually stop complaining about it and just accept it, like other ''features'' of the game.

    It seems however that Battlegrounds uses a very similar system for queueing people together, but the issue is that you can't ''evade'' the problem and just manually port to them like you can with dungeons. Since Battlegrounds is tied to the Morrowind chapter aka $$, maybe they will prioritize to fix it and hopefully also fix the dungeon finder once and for all.

    I guess that only time will tell how much they actually care about this sort of stuff now that it directly affects a main selling point of their expansion.

    Ya thats a crappy solution on their part. If players can spend excessive time to make a feature work like its supposed to, resulting in a less fun and rewarding player experience. Then thats an acceptable outcome. Its truly shameful and just plain embarrassing that now its affecting your new expansion we all had to pay for (not included with eso plus) its finally being addressed. Forget the numerous threads and tickets from unsatisfied, loyal customers.. Now its affecting sales, "OH BOY WE GOTTA FIX THIS RIGHT NOW." If you addressed this months ago liked we asked maybe it would have worked at launch (like games are supposed to).

    1 FPS on every "match found" popup, 1 FPS every 5-10 seconds while queued, someone declined error even when NOBODY declined... ffs cant even queue now.

    I hear ya, I've that happened too when everyone readys up and still says group not viable. I'm not seeing the FPS issue on console though.

    But you guys notice how battleground group finder didnt work yesterday and they are looking at it same day, dev's say they are addressing it and giving us feedback. Bugged dungeon finder has been an issue for months now and not one word about it from ZOS. Or any sign of effort to improve it since february. This is *** poor customer service right here.

    Well hopefully out of the group finder being bugged for battleground they will address group finder since its probably related since its a similar tool. Just absolutely shameful it took months of complaints to get ignored, now to be addressed cause it affects their new product morrowind that they've been trying to sell us. Now that they've advertised battlegrounds for months and it doesnt work and it's affecting sales does it finally get addressed. They should be embarassed.

    @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_BillE can we expect the dungeon finder to be fixed as well or are you going to continue ignoring multiple requests from forums about it and just fix the battleground group finder?

    So apparently its another ignore from ZOS, they arent ever going to fix this mess...I'm tired of waiting hours for a dungeon I think its time to go to BBB and submit a complaint....who's with me?

    Been trying to get an update on 4 months...apparently the ETA ona fix is when next ESO comes out

    Hey all, just to give you an update, we are aware and still investigating ongoing queue issues on PC. @ZOS_BrianWheeler even ran into it last night (yes, we do play our game) so we know it's happening, we just need to figure out the source and get it resolved.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno So having played your own game have you not noticed the dungeon finder has been bugged for months now. Especially bad since homestead on consoles 4 months ago, but I guess PC is bugged too...are we just going to continue ignoring this or address the problem? This has been going on far too long and never even gets acknowledged by ZOS....I've been sending tickets and bug reports for months and always seems to get ignored...

    How come this issue gets 2 immediate updates when it just happened yesterday and the group finder tool still remains unaddressed and broken especially bad the last 4 months? Since its not part of $60 marrowind expansion it can continue to go ignored cause its not affecting your pocket yet? This is utter BS. You just told us earlier in dungeon group thread it is working as intended.....now its not cause its affecting YOUR gameplay? But screw me...the paying customer??

    I think its embarrassing on ZOS's part when people post threads like this and ZOS responds with questions like "can you take screenshots of what your experiencing" or "are you sure someone didn't just decline the invite" etc, etc.

    Like are you kidding me ZOS??? You guys developed the game and obviously have people capable of testing the content, including the dungeon finder. Use those resources to re-create the issues that thousands of people have experienced in-game and figure out how to fix it. Don't come here and try to troubleshoot with a few specific people like they might have done something wrong.

    Just last night I joined a full pre-made guild group for a random dungeon. We que'd, entered the dungeon, and all got removed from the dungeon. Then it showed we weren't in a random dungeon, which meant we wouldn't get the random dungeon reward at the end. So we decided to instead do a daily pledge. After the pledge we planned to que for another random to get the daily rewards. Nope, said we had recently que'd and had to wait 30 minutes, even though we never got to run a random dungeon AND waited 30 minutes by completing another dungeon.

    Basically, everyone knows the DF is broke as a joke, ZOS needs to make this a priority.

    Dungeon finder worked ok since the update for me... so maybe it's fixed? Probably just got lucky.

    What system are you using? I'm guessing your on PC, Xbox hasnt got an update since 4/19. But its still bugged. Its been that way since february. You're not getting the removed from area, getting random dungeon bonus, no issues at all. Cause mine is bugged all the time. I wait 30 to 45 min to get a group and get removed from area. Then someone leaves group when they get booted from area. Then repeat process....its lovely, I wished mine worked...:(
