Crown Store Showcase

I've always thought that Crown Store Showcase and Game/Crown Packs sales are tied together.

I want to buy the ESO Gold Edition for my brother as gift but I am a poor man. Been checking the price every day for more than a month without success. Then I saw announcement about the current Crown Store Showcase and thought that the game and Crown packs will go on standard sale - 40% off. But Crown Store Showcase is here, the game price stays the same, the Gold edition stays the same, the Crown packs price stays the same.

Any clue when the sales will take place? Where I find the announcement about that when it happens?

Sales aren't that common. Can expect one around November, there was one in April or May though, usually around the anniversary of launch

Crown sales are random and rare, one or two a year normally.

We've had one in the last couple of months so it's unlikely we'll see another one any time soon.

The sale on the editions is again somewhat random, if you want to pick up cheap base game copies try checking Amazon or similar sites as they often clear old game stock cheap. The original base game is about £5-£10 on UK amazon (no DLC).
