Morrowind doesn't change the fact that questing is awfully dull and repetitive.

Talk to the npc, hammer that spacebar, walk in and out of doors more than a few times, mount/unmount your poor worn horse, rinse and repeat until you drop dead of boredom(a few hours est.). Why not while we're at it run all over the map to collect some lore books or sky shards, because that is incredibly fun to do. Of course if you choose not to do it, you will have to run all over the map later for your build.

There may be some who actually take their time to read those quests like i did on my first character, but they are guaranteed in the minority. Voice acted or not, it is the worst questing i have seen in my gaming career (only 23 years give or take). Rather than improving on the actual party system and ways to bring people together, you spend all your time adding some voice acting nobody gives a damn about anyway.

You want to grind instead of questing ? i do not recommend it, after you reach 50 which you will pretty quickly, you realize that Zenimax don't really want you to reach 50 that fast, atleast not without visiting their lovely questing areas first, that's right now if you want to finish your character you only have to run all the places questers ran past while they were questing, how brilliant is that?.

On top of all that many of the quests are still bugged, you spend a lot of time wondering what you're doing and wasting a lot of time, if you're like me who likes to use their time wisely then this will surely make you despise questing even more.

That's probably part of your issue. The story of a quest is normally part of the joy of it, especially in Morrowind where so far I've yet to come across a quest which hasn't been interesting.

Yes essentially all questing is the same, go to X, do Y, return. However that's what a quest is.
Quests are a means to tell a story in a game with XP and item rewards without the story they're just inefficient means of XP farming/grinding.
