last update causing framerate problems while using dungeon finder

surprisingly the game has been running great since the release of morrowind. i've been playing every day without any problem at all. unfortunately, today, after the last forced update, that time of luck was over. now, everywhere, i have a mysterious drop of framerate from more than 80fps to 1 to 3 fps every 5 seconds :\ it doesn't matter if i'm fishing without anyone around or in a very populated area: every 5 seconds the frame rate drops close to zero.

i already checked my internet connection, it doesn't seem to have any problem at the moment, and the ping is ok. i also confirmed on task manager that nothing else is running... so... i can't understand what's happening. the only thing changed in my system since yesterday was the ESO update.

any ideas?

*EDIT*
i found the problem, but it's not solved: it's caused by "dungeon finder".
when i join a queue every 5 seconds the frame rate drops close to zero while i'm waiting for a group.

Have you tried the game with no Addons? That should be one of your early troubleshooting tools.

I only say this as my brief time playing this morning did not result in any FPS weirdness.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

If you have any sound disabled, enable and set to 1 rather than zero.

Also, if you had made any tweaks via .ini mine were reset to default and I had to retweak as it were.

Hmm, I have MM. Oh, wait it's not enabled on the character that I ran this morning....

One thing I have done with MM is set the timers out as long as possible, I don't need to know 10 seconds later if something sold. I can wait a few minutes or what ever the max length is. I will have to see if it hoses my FPS tonight on the characters that run it....

after all disabling the Master Merchant was just a coincidence.

the problem is in "dungeon finder". when i join a queue every 5 seconds the frame rate drops close to zero while i'm waiting.

so... looks like i'm unable to use "dungeon finder" until another update, but, other than that the game is running fine.

Something for the Devs? It seems being in Queue can mess with Frame Rates. Perhaps there is a scan function running too often?

the good thing is that the framerate goes back to normal after the group is formed and while we are running the dungeon.

so, for now, looks like the solution is to stop playing while in queue in the "dungeon finder".

I have the same problem. But only on my Warden character, other toons are fine. Leaving que or joining a dungeon fixes it. Such a weird bug.

I am having the same issue. Took me 36 hours to finally find the problem. I'm not running any addons and I completed the file repair. Still fps loss when que'd for dungeons.

i'm still facing this problem, it's very annoying. at least they could add more time between the framerate drop, 5s is too fast :\

I have the same problem here. When I put to search for Random Pledges, my game gets freezing and FPS drops every 5 ~ 12 seconds. This happens only with Random Pledges, with Specific ones not happening for me. The problem is you can not do anything while the pledges are being searched. This is just one of the problems with the Dungeon Finder. Sometimes when the Pledge is found, you are sent back not being able to join the group found. The message displayed is that the instance is full. Another problem encountered is, you are being allowed to receive bonus from the Undaunted Guild more than once per day. Another problem is having to click the button several times to start a Pledge search. These are in my opinion the biggest problems of the Dungeon Finder being the MAIN of them the FPS drops.

i can confirm now that the problem is not only with the Warden character, i'm trying to do some random dungeons with my Dragonkninght and it's also bugged. we are still unable to use the dungeon finder.
