Are argonian horns covered by helmets or do they stick out?

I made a small rino horns on my argonian's nose, and they disapear when I wear helmet.

Probably too many horn and helmet options, But it would be an cool effect, think Khajiit helmets.
To compensate Argonian gear should get tail holes
Had looked fun on non argonians. Congratulation Necropotente is now an spanking skirt

Horns are hidden on both argonians and bosmer.

I'm pretty sure helmets actually hide all hair and head accessories. There used to be a cool thing where if your character wore an eye patch certain helmets would remove it and the eye underneath would be totally white, but for some reason they got rid of that and now they miraculously get their sight back while wearing those helmets.
