Morrowind Expansion Automatic Activation?

Little concerned about how this will work on XB1, firstly my husband and I bought it through the Crown Store... Said it was available today, got an update that it was moved to 06/06/17 tomorrow, we bought it a few months ago as a pre-order.

Question: when will we know if it's active and can start our new character creation for Wardens?

Is it all ready in game, or is there a patch we need to download, ...... and if needed to download will XB1 Automatically download it..... Or is there something special we need to do?

Correct...servers going down 9 pm eastern on 6/05 to load Morrowind on their end. Once the servers are back up, there's a big download. And a big line, lol.

I have a PS4...not familiar with Xbox settings, but you likely need to check and make sure your apps are set to update automatically. Then on the PS4 it has to be in rest mode, not shut down. (And I think there's a setting to allow it to ping from rest mode to download from there). Xbox is likely similar.

Sometimes my system doesn't start automatically updates on ESO. If you want access when you log in tomorrow, best bet is to manually make sure the update starts tonight.

The release date has always been June 6th since the announcement. They did offer early access to PC, but not XB1. This is the second post I have seen stating June 5th as the release date. Where are people seeing that the release date is June 5th and changed recently to June 6th? ..... Link please .....

People live in different parts of the world and timezones so depending...they may see June 5th whereas someone like myself sees June 6th

You can start downloading it now on Xbox, but it would not be available till tomorrow. I pre-ordered mine as well. So I looked up Morrowind in the "store"tab on Xbox and downloaded three packs.

When we pre-ordered​ from the crown store it said early access on 06/05/17, recently they changed it and got a Microsoft email stating that it will be out on 06/06/17.

I think ZoS had PC mixing in with consoles . At first when we pre-ordered it three months ago it was going to come our on 05/29/17.... Then got pushed back. PC then got it and that's when we got an email from Microsoft asking if we would like to cancel our order or keep it due to release date changes.

In any case we are finally here.... We beta tested it on PC so we know what's coming, should still be a fun experience on XB1....

Thank you everyone for your help, guess we will let the XB1 do it's thing, it should automatically update for us... Just wierd not having any codes to put in, or something to get it started.

Sooo ESO will be going down @ 9pm edt 6pm my time... I presume that when we log in the next day that everything will be turned on and we can start a Warden character..... And that's it, nothing special needs to be done?

You will need to input your purchase code based on the purchase you made into your account. This is accessed on the website based on your account. Not sure if the XB1 will prompt for the code at login. It may but I have not seen anything confirming this ......

If you do not have a code from your choice of purchase, you will have access to the base game and all current update/patches but not Morrowind .....

Interesting, I did not order from ZOS. I printed my order 02/10 from GameStop and it states pre-order for 06/06 .....

Appears there may have been an error from ZOS on release dates on some posts/emails. Looks like they were not changing the release date but fixing as error they made .....
