[PC NA] Root Sunder Ruins creatures hostile to me

Root Sunder Ruins is a public dungeon located at Grahtwood. After you completed the quest there, the creatures will be neutral to you . However after the update, they are hostile to me. Not sure why. ZOS please investigate.

    Hmm, I don't remember them staying neutral because I left the instance and never went back, but I assume it's because it only tracks if you completed it until the instance resets and then you have to complete the end fight again. I think that requires doing the group event, right?
    Worth a shot and then we'll know for sure.

    No. I do mages guild daily a lot and they've always been neutral until this "patch".

    Maybe they are just annoyed with all the green pact farmers dropping in uninvited.

    Yeah I noticed that too when I got the Mage's guild daily in there with one of my new characters. Previous characters who did that daily and had completed the quests in there did not have all the mobs hostile.

    Have you tried to use your previous characters after the patch?

    Pre-Morrowind, all mobs were neutral to my main (really the only one I play). Post patch all mobs became hostile, dont see anything in patch notes.

    Did Root Sunder a couple of days ago on a toon that had not previously completed it. Did the quest, everything went friendly. Left and came back later to farm armor and NPCs were once again hostile. . WTF

    Just did the daily mages quest here on my main. Same here, all creatures inside where hostile, haven't been aggressive to me for over a year.

    The formerly neutral creatures are aggro on me now too. SIGH.
    Power level to CP160 in a week:
    Where is the end game? You just played it.
    Why don't I have 300+ skill points? Because you skipped content along the way.
    Where is new content? Sigh.

    Please look into this, I also enjoyed making everything passive, so you could explore and enjoy the scenery a bit more after being done with the quests. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible.

    I think it was changed when undaunted daily quests were introduced in this dungeon. After that only when you did main quest and DO NOT leave the dungeon, it will be neutral. If you leave and go in again - they will be aggro. It kinda makes sense - no point to give a quest to get the thing which is close to group boss if group boss is neutral...

    I did Mages Guild quests (not Undaunted) many times in Root Sunder Ruins while the fauna and flora were passive. That is what made it so surprising when everything became aggressive again.

    The bosses were never passive so if you wanted some xp...

    Happened to me as well. Mobs used to be neutral after completing the quest. I haven't been there for quite some time and I revisited the dungeon for the daily quest. Now mobs are hostile. They probably forgot me and don't recognize my scent anymore :'(
