there should be a bunch of different gameplay styles available depending on the map...

People shouldn't be allowed to bring in a Red tune to crown an emp for their buddy, jump back on a Blue tune to steal scrolls and run the map, and then Yellow to farm AP. Campaigns are being RUINED by faction and campaign jumpers who don't give a crap about loyalty to any particuliar faction, they just want a Ruby Throne for their house and a bunch of AP. But what of the MANY of us who strive hard for victory.....who actually care about winning? How fun is it for us to watch the manipulation of events in Cyro which totally effect the outcome of a 30 day campaign? ZOS knew, or should have known, this would happen and yet they ignore it. It's quite disheartening, and I know many guilds on the AD side that are talking about leaving ESO because of it. Lock the damn accounts by faction for a campaign and force people to choose a side! Then, after the month is over, allow them to choose whatever faction they'd like again. Again, with OneTamriel players can group with whomever they want in over 95% of the worlds map. Is it too much to ask that Cyro be treated with the respect it deserves?

This happened before. It just happened again.
It makes lots of real DC players leave this game.
There are no other playstyle. Only one left. 10 to 50 EP vs 1 DC all day.
No one will play with those crossing faction people. They make it again.

You sure it's only 10 to 50 EP vs 1 DC all day ? What timezone are you in bro.

Yea, because being limited to play with friends/guildies from different Alliances is a bad thing.....
When there are full of crossing faction people in Cyrodiil, there are only zerg left. They can do whatever they want.
Alliance war is broken. So why should I continue to play PvP.
I will quit too. Let those people play themselves.
A WHOLE BIG MAP TO DUEL.
YOU CAN ZERG YOUR FRIENDS, THEY LIKE IT VERY MUCH.
if you are on pc eu, can I have your stuff plz?
@altemriel
Some people don't have a loyalty to a faction. I know my only allegiance is to my friends. If there was a lawless pirate faction that allowed myself and those I run with to fight all three factions, we would hoist the Jolly Roger in a heart beat.
Some people like to roleplay an alliance war. We just like good fights.

I would modify that in only one way...
DO AWAY WITH THE INITIAL FACTION SELECTION AT CHARACTER CREATION COMPLETELY! it's ONE Tamriel!
Select a faction when entering a campaign, locked into that faction for the campaign duration. Bonuses for low pops, and faction loyalty. Only one character per-campaign.
Everyone needs to calm. It's patch launch. Half the regulars are doing new content or levelling.
The only odd thing is that EP guilds aren't.DC guilds will be back soon.

Noups... i hear a lot just say: 'im leaving'. People really dont like super build's, Proc set with stupidy DPS, farmers run's, etc. People like a good combate, not a dirt fight.

Let's assume you are right that there are hundreds of players out there manipulating the PvP campaigns because we have nothing better to do than ruin your fun and the integrity of Cyrodiil. We don't do battlegrounds, we don't play in guilds 4 times a week, don't run trials, don't build houses, no DSA, don't do Vvardenfell, don't grind up new toons, don't duel, don't do IC, etc., we do nothing but devote 100% of our game time stealing scrolls and crowning our friends emperor.
We are so damned determined and successful at doing this ... how is your faction lock going to stop this? I mean we clearly plan this out and devote ourselves to ruining your campaigns, surely we would say before the next campaign cycle: "Hey most of us should join EP because three EP mains need Emperor. We'll have 10 players stay on AD and 8 on DC to ensure we have spais on every night and can still steal scrolls when needed and make false call outs in zone." All a faction lock would do is move the timetable up for such coordination. It would not stop it. In fact, it might actually make it more difficult to combat since by locking factions, you prevent the many people who multi-faction because they want to play the underdog from helping to balance out the bandwagon hoppers.
Also, how exactly does your campaign lock all of sudden make the manipulators loyal to a faction or care about winning? You think all of a sudden those EP players who screw around at Brindle while Arrius and other home keeps are being taken will all of a sudden "respect" Cyrodiil? There is absolutely nothing stopping an EP player from taking a scroll and running over to her DC friends just to be a troll.
If your faction loses then your faction needs to get good, take off the tinfoil hats, and look to improving their coordination /strategies instead of blaming spais and cross faction players for why it was defeated.
