Group Finder bug - haven't been fixed for months, despite patch notes

So you are unable to queue with a friend, or group - any premade without the rest of your group being unable to get xp.
Explanation: I have crown, my buddy does not. We queue for a random for easy xp and rewards. Upon completion, only the crown and people not associated with original group will get xp and rewards.
I have sent dozens of tickets in for this problem. Solutions are: be crown - screw your friends; make sure you can get the daily bonus; well fix it eventually no ETA.
I'm posting here because this is bulls--t. Why am I unable to queue with my friends for nearly a year? It forces us to do either 2 seperate dungeons, with one of us getting screwed each time, or not do them at all.
I'm sure it's a bug thing. But there is NO interest in fixing it, or even compensation for having the problem dozens and dozens of times. I don't mind bugs, they happen.
I do mind the lack of caring the team clearly has. Use your words to communicate with us. Even an "I don't know." would be appreciated at this point.
