new update - the games keeps redownloding itself
hey guys,
I launched ESO today after a while and it has started an update, then the game started redownloding itself?
I tried running a repair but the same thing keeps on happening
could use some help

Bryong9ub17_ESO✭✭✭✭I would just let it run its course. Depending how long it's been since you last played it might be rather large update.

let it run until the play button is clickable, if you have not played since morrowinds patch then it will look as if the game is re downloading due to the size but i assure you it is not.IGN: Ki'rah

Does it restart immediately, or does it happen when you open the launcher?1 -

✭✭✭✭✭Bear in mind also that it downloads and installs in segments, so after downloading and installing one segment it will start downloading another segment - which might make you think it's repeating what it's already done.1 -

@Bryong9ub17_ESO it's running as we speak, but very slowly due to the size
@jircris11 the size is almost 50000 mb it seemed too big for an update
@kunquatb16_ESO when I try to launch it it crushes so ive chosen "repair" and after that it continues to the 50000 mb download

Bear in mind also that it downloads and installs in segments, so after downloading and installing one segment it will start downloading another segment - which might make you think it's repeating what it's already done.
ugh I hate these big updates lol

I update every patch. It's possible your game is just too out of date to patch? when was the last time you updated?
It's possible you might need to reinstall from scratch 0 -

✭@LexaKomTrikru it did a "scan" for me before the update meaning it scanned all my game files then updated to make sure i had all files needed.IGN: Ki'rah

I would just start over, stop the repair if you haven't already and just back out and reopen it and start over.
Just let it download.
I would do it right before bed or before i go to work, turn off "sleep" on my pc so it doesn't shut off while downloading. But that is just what i would do.
Its going to take sometime so i would find something else to do in the mean time.

its stuck on 1.42mb/s seems like im saying goodbye to eso lol 0 -

What is your connection speed usually? Was your internet being used by anything else? Anything else being downloaded or anyone else using it? steaming videos? youtube? netflix?
Go here speedtest.net and click "go" and see what it says after the test.0
