Does Surge trigger from Daedric Mines crits?

I hope Daedric Mines triggers the heal from critical strikes provided by Surge, but I am unsure if it does. Can anyone verify one way or another? An official response would be even better.

It's harder to test because of how it works and any enemy easy enough to eliminate other variables often doesn't do enough damage or is defeated too quickly.I have verified Surge does trigger from Lightning Form/Boundless Storm, Lightning Flood/Liquid Lightning and Elemental Blockade. Those skills were not supposed to trigger it according to an old post from 2015 I found when googled, and the Elemental Blockade even works very similar to Daedric Mines in how it places a ground effect instantly based at the character location which you can move away from.
Just based on it working with Elemental Blockade(Blockade of Storms specifically), it should trigger Surge whenever Daedric Mines/Daedric Minefield crits on an enemy. If it doesn't then I believe this can be fixed by figuring out why Elemental Blockade triggers Surge, ad it really needs to be fixed in that case.

Can anyone verify that this does or does not trigger Surge when Daedric Mines and its morphs crit?

Yes, Surge and all morphs will trigger from a Daedric Mines, Daedric Minefield, or Daedric Tomb Critical hit. You can see it on Combat Logs, even if it were an overheal.

How do I see combat logs? Is that available with the default UI? Gamepad UI default also?(yes, I need to use this incomplete UI)

I think he means like Combat Metrics and FTC and all the PC shenanigans

So, it must be an addon? I hope it's not one that does too much. I want to keep my interface as pure as possible to avoid bugs and lag.

Thanks. I may try that, but I'm glad daedric mines wasn't left out of the surge crit heal trigger. No skill should be left out of affecting it if it crits, at least damage.
