Diff between vet and norm trials?

What is the difference between normal and veteran trials. Is it just the difficulty of the enemies or does the mode also affect the loot?

Normal is easy you can ignore most if not all of the mechanics of the game on normal. Also the gear will only drop in blue quality you can also go into a normal trial with someone who has little to no CP and be fine

Vet, everything has more health, things hit hard, and the final boss has damn near 100 million health.

My first vet Hel Ra took us 2 hours.

while most of the mechanics are the same in normal & vet
most of the mechanics can either be ignored, or do not have the opertunity to trigger in normal (because everything dies too quickly)
there are certain examples where the mechanics are different in vet (1st boss sanctum for example)
