Which is honestly better? Does the 5% from IA really make up for and is better then the 186 spell dmg from Willpower?

X3ina✭✭✭Minor Slayer is equal about 350 spell damage unbuffed and ~400 fully buffed (at least for a sorc).
Easy way to calculate:
(your spell damage + your max magicka) x 5% = minor slayers actual bonus. Where 1 spell damage = 10,5 magicka and vice versa.
You can use buffed or unbuffed stats to know the actual bonus in the raid or while in the afk mode.
