Steam Achievements

why this game doesnt have any steam achievements for steam users? There is a lot of enjoyable achievement in-game but not in steam. Is it about something with steam-bethesta communication or lazyness?

I think because the game didn't initially release on Steam so ZOS never bothered with making Steam-based achievements

Though it is months old, I've read that they were interested in making steam achievements.

Now that The Elder Scrolls Online offers more functionality with Steam, it opens up more opportunities for us to create cool stuff for our community here on Steam. We are interested in creating Steam achievements and more – keep an eye out for details!

ZOS has always had a pretty poor relationship with Steam. I gather that, for whatever reason, all the Zenimax Media companies aren't on the best of terms with Steam (probably because they don't like Steam taking a cut of the sales or forcing them to lower their price for Steam sales). I think that if they thought they could get away with it, Zenimax Media would probably set up its own game service like EA and Ubisoft.

I thought when we linked our ESO accounts with our Steam accounts that it would show our in-game achievements on our Steam profiles. That would be neat even if Steam doesn't come up with their own special Steam achievements for the game.

I honestly would know if it is still a feature ZoS is interested to make.

well, it does for me. i like that kind of achievement stuff, since i am steam player and i have friends there, i do want in game achievements sync with steam.
