Logging Out in Belkarth

I do not know if this was discussed a while ago, but since they recently looked at logout times (inside of homes) with this latest patch, I was wondering exactly why they did not remove the 10s logout time in the city of Belkarth? It is the crafting mecca of the game, and I have several alts that never leave the city. Just wish I could save those 10s per character per day.

Yea I mean, ... 10 seconds are ten seconds. You spent probably more time writting this thread. A little tip grap a drink.

I agree, but I doubt they would ever fix it, there were multiple threads about this issue and its still ignored.
Its a small thing ofc but its a bit annoying when you have all you crafting chars parked in Craglorn.

It gives you a chance to cancel the logout because you won't be able to log back in if you park your character there. I wish Rawl'kha had a logout timer.

10 seconds is not limited to Belkarth - it is if your client needs to synch with the server or vice versa before logging you out of the game. It usually happens if you haven't rezoned or relogged in a while. You may think it is annoying to wait for the countdown, but you would be screaming blue murder if you logged back on and found progress had been rolled back when you last logged out because they weren't synched.

    I doubt that.

I've never had a logout timer in say, Davon's Watch. Ever.

    LOL

Edit: I feel that may have sounded a bit rude - I've been playing since beta in 2014, and can absolutely state without doubt that logout timers happen all over the place. If you never got a logout timer in Davon's Watch, it's probably because you never logged out there with anything that your character has done since travelling to Stonefalls that needed to be synched between client and server.

Well good for you, that doesn't mean it never happens to anyone though.

    I wish it always did.

10 seconds is nothing, but the amount of times I log out, want to cancel but it hasn't given me 10 seconds...

No you get 10 seconds in wilderness, so you can not log out during combat or chased.
It's off in towns but with bugs, stable and skyshard area In Wulkart guard is another

If you try to log out during combat, it says quite clearly "Cannot log out during combat" and won't even let you start to log out, countdown or no. I can't help feeling there's a massive level of misunderstanding going on here.

This was a big problem a few months back but after they fixed it I haven't had that issue in either Belkarth, Rawl'kha or anywhere else. You do?
