I mean really, Harvesters used to be the bane of my existence at one point. What happened here? A single hard cast of Shards alone could kill it twice over.

    It got changed way back due to the whining of Doshia. Many players couldnt kill Doshia, it was a challenge back then at like level 6 or so which is when you should have been fighting Doshia. But many players couldnt beat Doshia so instead of nerfing it like 10-20%, they nerfed it 500%.

    If this is in the final part of Bangkorai, those harvesters are bugged. They seem to be at pre-One-Tamriel levels.

    What if I told you Dosha was even harder in closed beta and Harvestors were impossible solo.....but so was the entire fighters guild questline. It meant something to complete it and mages guild too

    What if I told you Dosha was even harder in closed beta and Harvestors were impossible solo.....but so was the entire fighters guild questline. It meant something to complete it and mages guild too

    It was impossible to finish bc the quest was broke XDDD took a long time for them to fix that first part

    I thought as much, it had to be a bug. Skeevers have like 13k health and there isnt single mob in the game thats supposed to have less. I even light attacked one of those Harvesters and it keeled over. Funniest thing.

    Doshia was way better in closed betas to defeat IMO, then Molag Bal before he got nerfed to oblivion ...

    Gotta be something wrong. Dolmen harvesters do not go down in one hit. Neither do any other ones encountered, for that matter.

    Harvesters are sensitive to one particular type of attack, from what I understand. I forget what that was, though. Maybe you were attacking it with that type?

    Just had to move around, block, regent and kill orbs....maybe that was after the fix tho (I'm speaking of closed beta)

    Live release was a cake walk and a face roll by comparison.
    Heck you'd wipe in a group of 5 at Dolemans in closed beta

    Spent 5 whole days fighting Molag Bal on my Vampire Templar, back when the balls of light he threw would 1 shot you lol good times.
    Grand Warlord HAXERUS. One of the last OG Mag DKs.
    Mag DK through Thick and Thin.
    Retired from Cyrodiil until they finally decide to fix the performance, which is probably never.

    I really wish more of this game was a challenge. I still remember going into craglorn at v2 or something and it was waaaay too hard. Now there's nothing you can't do at like level 8. Meh.

    It was that the game was new to you as well. Speaking as a new person, not knowing much with terrible gear and just getting a feel of this type of combat system is difficult. Not everything, but I die frequently enough to enjoy the combat

    Where is that? I noticed on Vvardenfell that Dwarven Spheres, for example, had about 30k HP instead of the 100k+ I was used to dealing with, but I thought that might have been a starter island type thing.

    I miss the days when seeing a harvester triggered that "nope, I'll do another quest first!" reaction.

    Sadly overland content and some solo instance stuff has been hit pretty hard with balance passes.
    Some of the newer bosses are better, they have good sized health bars but for anyone who knows mechanics and builds they're stop still a joke.

    True that about the Harvesters. They were scary if you were sub-level 40.

    The part of the quest that was broke was when you had to go meet someone from the fighter guild that was fighting daedric that spawned out of the portals.

    If someone killed them already the npc would be there but the portals would never spawn it blocked the progression of the quest.

    I went back to the fighter guild quest like a year later to finally finish it, have no clue when they fixed it. This was also during the 5 day early access not durning the beta.

    There's too many people who give up after the first try and start begging for nerfs. And this is really sad, this game's combat system has a lot of potential. :( But as a solo player you dont get to see it anyway, even on my gimped crafting char everything dies ridiculously fast. At this point I just run past most of quest/delve mobs because I cant even see them as enemies, theyre just a minor annoyance.

    Especially with lack of CC-immunity and perma-stun/perma-disorient possible.
