Magika DK and Vamp

Ive read conflicing information on the forums with the moro expansion coming up on magika DK and the vampire skill line. Some suggest avoiding Vampire for most players, as the extra fire damage can be absolutely brutal. Others say go vampire since a lot of the fights I can negate flame damage with harness magicka and enjoy the 10% magicka recovery. Anyone have any thoughts on this in the upcoming expansion?

Fire damage only really matters in pvp.

For PvE just go for vamp if you like it.
You can drain people to be at stage 1 and don't get the extra fire dmg. Spam mistform to go fast to stage 4 and enjoy the Vamp passives when there is no fire.
For PvP you'll need to make your own expirience I guess. The dawnbreaker ultimate will hit you hard, in exchange you'll have a good low cost ulti, dmg mitigation and regeneration boosts.
I like both so I switch between 'human' and Vamp, as I change my play style around.

I take stage 4 Vampirism and I don't look back; the pro's are just too good to pass up...

You can work around the Fire Vulnerability, and yes, Fighters Guild abilities will hurt, but as long as your Healing and Defense are strong, then you'll be ok...

One of the most favoured races for magicka DK is Dunmer (aka Dark elfs). Dark elfs have a passive reducing dmg taken from flame. Being a vampire while playing as a dunmer MagDK will give you more pros than cons. As a Dunmer MagDK the only really bad things about being a vamp is:

* Extra dmg from Fighter´s Guild abilites (Dawnbreaker most likely)
* Low Health regen (which isn´t usefull unless you stack really high amounts of it)

Worst thing about being a vampire is fbd appearance. Dropped vamp 6 months ago and my enjoyment of the game has gone way up. I don't care how OP undeath or 10% extra regen is, nothing is worth that stupid appearance.

Seems like the general feedback is to go for it as the pros are above the cons. I planned to run the PVE solo build from deltias gaming ( http://deltiasgaming.com/eso-magic-dragonknight-dps-build-2/#leveling). Anyone have experaince or feedback with this build?
