I got booted from battlegrounds for no reason

So I was doing battlegrounds and when I saw we only had two people on our team I said screw it lets just defend, so I was sitting around the relic, casting buffs here and there, moving around, stealthing and unstealthing. Doing what a point guard should do and I got booted for 'being in active'

Thats not cool... So I HAVE to go get involved in the slug fest, hell no. Come on ZoS out of all the dumb things thats have happened this is by far the worst. Please fix this, I also got the deserter debuff too, I payed for this stuff so I'd like it to work in a NOT STUPID or flawed manner

LOL are you serious? Will it really auto-boot if you're what the game considers "inactive" or a "deserter" even if you're doing s**t?

Makes me glad I didn't buy Morrowind if so

I've heard about such things, but I've not experienced them first hand. Alternatively, I've heard that if one entire team quits early, the battle ends for everyone and it dumps everyone out of the instance.

It seems a bit extreme to require everyone to engame in combat within 2 minutes. What if I'm trying to defend the flag? If I leave the flag is totally unguarded, but if I stay to defend and no one shows up I get booted? If this is true then it should be re evaluated.

And considering stam builds can pop immovable, forward momentum then sprint faster than I could possibly hope to follow from my flag to their capture point... we really need to defend (or ZOS add a pickup timer of like 5 seconds, instant is too exploitable).
