It says via the website that i can purchase them for 400 crowns, however when i check on my xbox one ESO crown store, they arent under the featured tab. When will these research packs be available for xbox one purchase?

Step 1. Cut a hole in a box.

Step 2. Put your credit card details and your caps lock key in that box.

Step 3. Throw it into a volcano. I don't think you quite understand how much money you'd have to spend for those to be worthwhile.


Also, they will probably be released to the platforms with the major patch coming on June 6th.

DONTTTT DOOOO IT! IT IS SOOOO BADDD, dude, 1 trait researched eventually take you 10 days, 16 days, 30 days! Losing 1 day is NOTHING!

SAVE YOURSELF!!! DONT DOOO IT! there are tons of traits, all you are doing is emptying a lakes worth of research a table spoon at q time for 400 crowns

I agree. The ROI on these is pretty sad. I bought 1 Blacksmithing and 1 Woodworking one for the 3 writs so I could pound out the last day of my 9th trait on both those, but to buy them thinking that there is a great time savings is going to disappoint you greatly.

You are misinformed. All research scrolls have a cool down period, whether purchased from the Writ Voucher Merchant or from the Crown Store.

Save yourself the $750+ you'd need to spend on research scrolls to make it worthwhile. Buy them with Writ Vouchers instead. By the time you're at 9 traits you'll have a surplus of vouchers anyway.

Well i have 9 trait blacksmith weapons , all all armor except head and shoulders, I have 9 trait light armor , and missing helmet and shoulders for medium armor, and then i know 9 trait woodworking, The reason i'm planning on using them is because i'm about a month away from knowing 9 trait everything which will boost my writ voucher tier from writ rewards (because as per said via the official ESO website, you need to know 9 trait everything and all motifs in order to get maximum writ voucher frequency and potency) so even if it does or doesn't have cool down it would be 13 days with a cooldown, or 3 minutes without a cool down, is better than me waiting 24 days to research. I have a job and believe the price is not too bad for crowns (if there was no cooldown that would be even more amazing!) however, i have heard rumors that the attunable mundus stones went from 2000 crowns to 4000 crowns, i would more so gripe over that bull vs the 400 crowns it costs for 1 research voucher.

I thought adding these things was a terrible idea until I saw how little they actually give you. Now.. Knock yourself out if you really want to shave 1/27 off your 9th trait research time.

if i have 24 days left of research, and i can only use 1 of them per 20 hours

i use 1 then i have 23 days remaining ---> tomorrow
i have 22 days waiting (cause 1 day went by) then i activate another one which brings me down to 21 ---> tomorrow
20 days remaining because 1 day went by , then i activate another one brings me down to 19 etc.

if the crown a writ one do the same thing then i'm just going to buy the writ ones. We will have to wait and see on the 6th ;(

I couldn't believe how week these things are. I thought one would give you at least the 10 days horse lessons do. 1 day, lol. Guess they didn't really want to sell them.
