I remember finding Ondil and thinking that delve was the coolest thing in the world. ✭well ill say this it took the earlier generations to go pay 2 play casual pandering. EQ2 did not take this route until post 2008 , and you got far more for your dollar in thier expansions and their DLC's. This was an excellent run down on the game. the time line is spot on about late 2015 the loss of the original team and the hand off team was the death of the MMO part of this game. now it just resembles a SPRPG with multplayer options. i disagree with the CP system though it was nothing more then the VR being unlocked and put in the players hands to point out as they saw fit. it was a shallow bad way of AA . and the fact they have not built upon this system and continue to make this game designed around DPS it wont hold any true MMO player for long.Edited by Wifeaggro13 on June 1, 2017 3:30PM0 -

Besides I like the changes, it feels like an elder scrolls game that's online, it finally feels like it does what's on the tin.

A friend of mine at Arenanet said they were currently doing metrics, to study the return benefit to the company of shoveling endless end game to the insatiable and demanding end game player.
