Black Vine Villa Vines

My Vampire decided to make his home Black Vine Villa. Each character I play gets their own home. Outside he has an old dilapidated graveyard. I put mass burial stones up on the wall set back some so the face shows on the wall. When I did it they were easy to see when you first enter. Now a vine has grown on the all and they are hidden. Has anyone else had a vine all of a sudden grow on their walls? Originally my Vampire wanted vines on those walls but with the mass burial stones he has decided the vines gotta go. He needs a scythe to remove the vines, or at the very least something to kill them so the burial stones can be seen.
Mostly though just wondering why the vines and are they here to stay? If so I gotta move some stuff.
