It is always prime time someone on the planet in a world wide game. They will do these needed fixes during their work hours.

It's not EU primetime. Primetime starts after the end of the working day, which is usually 6pm, and that's not for another hour in even the most Eastern EU time zone.

It is when their people are all on the East Coast of the US.

They used to do two separate days for NA/EU but it didn't work out for them, easier to do it all on a Monday morning (Tuesday because of public holiday).
We see these threads literally every downtime, every single time one or two people have to come and demand it be done somewhere else, how are ZOS bad blah blah.

Not going to change. Maybe go take a walk outside get some air, take a shower or something else to relax. Servers will be up soon and then you'll forget all about this, however the forums won't... forever will this thread remain.

ZoS employees are human beings with sleep schedules, and maintenance is done at times that will give them a full work day to put out any unexpected fires or make extra tweaks.

I can't believe that has to be said, but there you go. People. With a work day. Doing their work.

the problem though is that it's not only in the morning. Nearly every week it lasts atleqast untill 3 pm, sometimes even 5 or 6 pm (or even later). That is pretty ridiculous tbh.

Prime Time over all is the same, it's the prime time of day when you'll have the most people, which is almost exclusively evening time when people are not at work or other daily commitments.

You can't argue it's not the same in ESO because you can literally sit there from 17:00 GMT and watch as the Cyrodiil campaigns lock, cities fill up with people asking for dailies etc.
