Ok, so the game has been out 3 years give or take, and I just have one question (ok maybe 2). What happens to your gold when you fast travel without a wayshrine? I mean, do you throw it at the sky in hopes the 8 divines might grant you safe passage through time and space? Another thing, why are the vampire and werewolf shrines still not marked on the map (on console)?? Like I'm just saying, if I were a traveling merchant, it might be nice to know where those are so I don't end up on a ritual alter watching my heart get pulled out and eaten (those things happen you know).

RP wise it makes sense, but you don't want to have such things in gameplay. It like saying: when you die you loose all your items

WW and vamp shrines are not marked on the map on PC. I don't the most visiting them even puts an i I'm on the map.

We can use addons though for such things but Zos chose to go with a limited UI and called it part of their vision all along when explaining why they changed their mind and ditched the more customary MMO UI.

Because, if you die, the last thing you want to leave is a map for zealots of Stendarr to use that will lead right back to your shrine.

To your first question i would think its like a vending machine type deal you slip in the gold and then teleport. Every so often a town guard will come buy to collect the gold.

To your second question its because its a secret. The first rule about werewolf and vamp shrines is that you dont talk about them or mark them on any maps.
