You'd list something and 10 seconds later you'd be undercut by the same "person" every time. You could go to the less traveled towns where these bots would hide out and see them in action going from the mailbox to the AH in the exact path each time. With the guild trader system that ESO has, I have never seen that and hope I never do. I think it's in part or whole to that you have to go from town to town to find items.5 -

Overall, I'm 50/50. I like the current trading system, but I dislike that it all rely on vendor spots, so a way to check every single one would be more convenient, be it coming with fees, restrictions or even just to get a look about what is being sold, where and at what average price but without ability to buy. Without mention of the -useless- vanilla UI.

And by saying yes I mean... more guild stores in every main town. should be 20 or 30 of em. a universal store would be ridiculously flooded with items. If you're going to make a universal store, then you HAVE to have a way to search for specific items. That wouldnt be a bad addition to existing stores.1 -

I second what newtinmpls had to say on the matter.
Our current system is flawed, but at least it discourages price fixing, which is a guaranteed problem with a global auction house. If you think things cost too much in ESO now, imagine that times a factor of at least 10 if there is a global auction house.2 -

Tamerial Trade Center is not very accurate. At best it's a general reference tool. Sometimes you get lucky, which for me is about 1 out of 10 things I was looking for because they were gone when I got there.
I would be for keeping the guild stores but making an in game area/message board/auction house that you could purchase what you need by being able to search each of the traders right there, purchase the item then even have to take your butt to whatever backwater trader you bought it from to pick it up.3 -

✭No, I want to keep it as it is. I love to travel.There is an addon which works like a global store (sorry, won't advertise it). The result? Prices of rare items increased up to 10x. I was looking for a motif, which normally costs around 10k (price from BEFORE the festivals, so not a seasonal decrease). Somebody put it in a guild store for 20k, what is already twice the value suggested by Master Merchant. 10 min later the motif was bought and re-appeared in Belkarth... for 40k.
Is this what you want? Because this is what the big whale trading guilds do now: keep the addon open and look for best prices, then re-selling the items for 500% more.
When I open the tab with blue, purple and gold recipes it's all red (meaning the items are overpriced). 100, 200, 500% more than before NLF (I have data from last 200+ days).
