Hey there!
Had a thought, think it could be a good asset to players who want to get into PVP, but don't know understand builds and what works all to well. The current Target's, I find, are all for PvE, seeing how much damage you or a group can do to a target over time, but in PVP, it isn't about going ham on someone, they fight back, they run buffs and debuffs, and are alot more deadly then a dungeon boss.
My ideas on this are:
- The target skeleton is it's own thing, like the current ones.
- When made and placed, you can interact with it and change either it's attributes or just it's health overall (To a limit of whatever the highest possable health value is for players, so the other skeletons are useful) This can let players mess around with different builds of health (And Stam/Magicka too?) and see how their skills will effect their enemys stats.
- You can also 'equip' the skeleton with armour, having the same effects as they would on players. This can help further define different players builds you may fight against, and see where your strenghts and weaknesses lay. (The sketeton would be equip with the armour the player is currently wearing, making a virtual copy of it until it's overriden with a different set of armour)
- Other players, if they have the decorator permission, may also interact with the skeleton and change it's health/attributes and armour.
- Another use for this would allow players who wish to be a tank apply their gear to the skeleton and either fight it themself, or get another player to do so, giving the tank information about how well their set-up is against other players, and I suppose in some way, since NPCs aren't the same as players, how well they could hold up in PvE as well.
- Another idea, though most likely alot harder to do, maybe set the target to use different buffs players would use (Potion effects, abilitys)
I personally would love to see something like this. This is my first MMO I've gotten into, and as such, don't yet understand the rules and must's on PvP, and still barely for PvE, and I feel this'll be great tool to finding good combo's of skills and gears, without the fustraction of being ganged up and killed within a second in PvP.
What do you guys think?
