Halls of Fabrication on NORMAL is too hard.

I'm not saying its veteran mode should be nerfed. It's just that its normal version is too hard for us, casual players. Normal difficulty should be accessible for everyone interested in the story and exploring. I'd really like to play through it but my group got stucked in the first boss.
Besides that, every other content on normal in the game is easily achieved with a group of casual players.
It's really hard to find 12 players with decent gear and experience...
I really don't mind getting stucked in the veteran mode if I don't have proper gear and/or skills. However, it would be good to test the trial. I've completed Morrowind questline already and HOF is part of the chapter after all!

No its not.

A 12 players with decent gear and experience are easily found in any serious PVE/trials guild that usually focuses on veteran dungeons with extension to normal trials.

And no, don't expect everything to be doable with a pickup group of people gathered randomly from zone who didnt even spent few minutes on reading about mechanics (yes there are already guides for normal HOF) and is just trying to bruteforce their way "maybe if we all charge at boss again and attack it till we are all dead, it will work this 10th time", otherwise ESO would be in really bad shape if this was a thing. "Every other content" is not excuse.

Its not that hard,just gotta do mechanics.Only thing that should maaaybe be tuned down is a bit the damage/dot damage.

You should not be able to pug random groups and do normal to get BiS endgame gear. I wish normal dropped v15 raid gear. Thank god it is SLIGHTLY difficult.

The damage is pretty intense even on normal but it's not that hard....once u get mechanics down and assuming your tanks/healers aren't duds it's doable even with pugs. The health of bosses are pretty low.

Did it 10 times now, first time i thought it was just as hard as vet AA hardmode, it felt exactly the same. all the inc damage etc

now we just speedrun it in under 40 mins but i do realise you do need to be in a guild that does raids 2 times a week at least to have a chance at this. So it is not for everyone.

Neither is vet City of Ash,II or the Hist dungeons. And the amount of people that mess up on twins in nmol (normally bow using nb's) is also still enormous

So dont expect nhof to be nerfed, just join a guild with a patient raidleader.

Its not that hard more a challenge which is nice. Knowing the mechanics is key to beating the boss, if you dont know the mechanics you die.

Its not full of trash like other trials either so you dont need huge amounts of DPS just the right skills and setups like Purge, must have.

Just make sure that all the DPS's in the group are magicka sorcerers. That's it.

It is a tough one - the toughest Trial for sure.

I agree that not everything should be "easy", for sure, but I'd have to admit that some of the AOE and DOT damage from bosses / mobs is a bit on the high side and could be dialled down a bit. There are too many places where a player can be one-shot-killed without getting much wrong, which I think is a mistake. When you're under attack, you should be able to utilise your skills to get out of trouble (and only die if you screw up). A 40k+ blast will rip through my armour and shield (light armour sorc), and while some bosses should be able to do that, currently there are too many.

This is not a difficult trial. It is easier than vmol by far and most of all it's new content that you are not supposed to finish within the first 15 minutes.

I would say it needs to be buffed but more than that i really miss the souls limit we used to have in a trial. Perhaps not for normal but on vet it would make a lot of difference. I'm pretty sure no one would have completed hof that quick if we still had that system in place.

Lol we did it with a pug group and a few where under lvl 50 it's not hard on normal

For the love of Vivec DO not nerf this. Did it on my first attempt with a PUG group and I am by no means an elite player in ESO.

It will get easier with practice as well.

I think normal is just fine as it is, not too hard not too easy. Trials are not really meant for casual players.

You need to prepare yourself. If you speak a word about end game content being too hard, the full weight of these forums will come down on you. Severely. I made that mistake before..

It´s hard because it´s new. A year back people were not able to PUG nMoL either but today nMoL is very easy to do with a few random people. Give it time and you´ll see that it´s not that difficult. But agree on some Points that the DoT dmg is a Little overkill on normal :P

well it is a trial, end game content, so it is supposed to be super hard, even on normal

You also have progression, it should be harder than nMoL, it should however not get much into veteran trial difficultly.
Same with dungeon, the harder normal dungeons like nIcP compared with the easier veteran one.

Definitely do NOT nerf this trial! Indeed, no more nerfing at all. I did this first time through with my regular vtrial group and we finished it no problem - and we didn't even know what we were doing! None of us had done it before, but we still completed it.

All you need is a good group, preferably one you run with regularly so you all know each other's strengths.

I also thought it was surprisingly hard for a normal mode. It is also harder than nMoL (even at thieve's guild launch).

I don't know what side to take here. I think it's a good thing that a trial is hard enough to force everyone to study the mechanics and follow them, instead of burning through everything. It is more fun this way and it also serves its purpose as a learning tool for the veteran mode.

However, it is also true that normal mode is for casual, PuGs, and people who just want to enjoy the scenery and the story. It should not require to be in a structured guild with somewhat optimized gear and TeamSpeak coordination.

I guess that's another case for asking for a three-level difficulty scale instead of the current two.

we really dont need another normal mode like the other trials, people just dont learn the mechanics then

nHoF is harder than the rest normal Trials, there are some bs things and I'm usually actually ready to discuss its difficulty from a point of view of casual player and let myself think about some adjustment...

But you just gave up on the first boss! Like... screw making an effort, you gave up right from the start and now talk about nerfs. And you expect sympathy?

Have your healers and DDs (those who have it) slot Purge and periodically cast it. Keep bosses away from each other. Don't kill one boss when the other has a lot of health - Spheres will go into enrage and kill you all. Get one of the bosses to low HP (15-20%), kill the other one and then quickly finish the first. Always interrupt bosses when they start eating tank, watch for it.

Like... really. Ffs.

Maybe next time you get stuck don't cry "NERF", cry "PEOPLE, ANY TIPS", hey? Really. Make some damn effort.

The same things was with MoL. It was hard for casual groups at the beggining and many couldnt pass 1st boss during 1st few weeks. People will learn and adapt and start to do it as easy as rest of the trials previously.
