Audio clipping since Morrowind.

Since Morrowind release, I find that if I have the game music on and I am in a area with several players using lightning abilities the audio starts clipping.
It does not matter how loud the music is it just has to be on.
This happens at Dolmens and at Rivenspire WB's that are being framed by lightening users.
The fix I am sad to say was to turn off the music.
Now how about that for realism --- lightening causing audio problems, wish the music was not AM.
