What is the difference between the Orange damage Text and White damage text?

Orange vs. White/Yellow(crit)

orange = dot (damage over time)
white= direct damage
yellow= any of the above but a critical hit


Take note: some abilities are considered both dot and direct dmg yet one color appears.
