Need some guidance for stamina

Hello to all. So I keep reading everywhere that magicka builds are super powerful now and stamina builds apparently suck, but I am definitely a sword user.

I have a nightblade main at max level and a dragonknight as well and they are both stamina, but I also have a sorc but magicka just feels off to me. I read that a lot of trials groups refuse to take anything but magicka and definitely no nightblades because apparently stamina is no good, yet I really want to use blades and bow.

Is there any class, even if I have to make a new one, or build that can measure up? That can be viable and won't be shunned or refused if I attempt to do trials with them in the future? All help is very appreciated.

Do not listen to any of that crap . New trial has been completed in by several groups , nearly all of them had stamina players . We had a Stamina DK for example . One of the other groups had a stamina nightblade . I am not sure but I think Alcast completed trial with a Stamina sorcerer as well . Every class Magicka or Stamina is viable if you know how to play . For builds , I highly recommend taking a look at Tamriel Foundry .

-2 dk hp tanks
-2 magicka Templar heals
-1 magicka dps Templar (alcast)

and

7! dps magicka sorcs

when you hear stuff all over its generally because there is some truth to it.

that said I'm stamina too (though seriously contemplating switching too sword and board magicka dk)

and with THAT being said, stam sorc I feel is the most fun and most successful stamina class atm, and can survive really easily, I would recommend giving it a go.

Your main benefit is the good defense you can get with hurricane and bound armaments - all without losing dps.
You can also dump your useless magicka for free healing with surge and dark deal, which shines in solo content like MA.
Otherwise the playstyle sadly won't differ from your other stam toons, esp. the NB.

Breton obviously has no benefit for a stam toon, but maybe you want to play mag some other time?
Leveling a new toon is quick and you'll need different gear anyway.

I was thinking of switching my sorcerer to stamina, seems like it could be fun. Are there any builds you would recommend that could help me with my stamina sorcerer. I haven't really played around too much with anything but magicka for him. Also my sorcerer currently is a Breton. Would that work for the stamina build or do I need to buy a race change?

Yeah I went ahead and made a stamina sorcerer. Just gonna power level tho I hate the skyshard hunting. But I guess I'll see how it works out.
