Game crashes with Chinese keyboard setting (in game)

I've noticed that whenever my Chinese keyboard is selected, and then I open the chat box in game (pressing enter), my game immediately crashes. It has happened enough times so that I know it has to do with the Chinese keyboard. My computer is a PC with a mix of US and German settings. I also have no problems using the English or German keyboard settings.

but it has to do with Mac computers - mine is a PC. My PC also doesn't use a Chinese/Japanese/Korean system. I've also seen other players in game chat typing with Japanese.
I've never really needed to use Chinese in game, but sometimes I accidentally switch keyboards by pressing whatever combination of keys that switch it. That's my fault obviously, but considering that I've seen Japanese in chat and that my comp is a PC, is this supposed to be happening?
