Mages Wrath now, good or bad?

if there is Haunting Curse also avalable for sorcerer.
I see people still like Mages Wrath, while imho Curse is much more effective and convenient.
In most situation while using heavy shock attack the Curse hits critically to death.
Also Haunting Curse works still on dead bodies hitting again for remaining mobs, at no resource cost.
I use Curse in PvE, no idea which is better for PvP though.
