Breaking the shackle Storm atronachs

The_Captn1
Am I missing something with having 2 storm atronachs come out at the same time while protecting Vanus? It seems way too much for the average player especially without magic (I'm a nightblade). After having died well over 50 times, I'm out of food, almost out of potions and all my equipment keeps getting destroyed. I was with a group of other players but they disappeared when I entered the this section so my guess is I have to do this solo which is why I don't understand the 2 storm Atronachs at the same time. Especially since their attacks have killed me when I have over 40% health. Seems like they don't want an average gamer to be able to play the game.

Can you stun/fear them (Incapacitating Strike/Aspect of terror)? Are you healing? (Leeching Strikes) Can you incapacitate an enemy from the fight? (Agony) Can you open with a stealth attack to deal more damage to an enemy to burst it down and reduce how much overall damage you take? (only 2 rather than 3 targets attacking you). Can you interrupt any of their attacks? (shield bash when they have a red particle effect around them)

I'm not familiar with the fight.

Also look around the room for something that might deactivate them.

Edit: I don't know the fight either.

They shouldn't both come out at the same time, if they are then something has gone wrong.

iirc (forgive me if I'm wrong, it's been a while!) there is a portal each side of the shackle, and they activate in turn, usually 3 enemies from each - once those are defeated the portal on the other side will activate and spew out the same enemies. There are 3 stages to it, fire enemies, frost enemies, and shock enemies. So you should (again I stress this is iirc) get 3 fire enemies from the left portal, one after the other - usually 2 humanoids and an atronach, then the same from the right, next phase is ice and they will come from left portal first then right... and you get the gist.

Now the trick with Storm Atronachs is when they are building up to their big lightning attack, you have to interrupt them while they are casting it (red lines coming out of them signal that they are casting something you can interrupt) - do that, and they are largely just big chunks of rock.

Now if you are on NA/PC I would be more than happy to help out - I am not sure whether I can group with you for that since I already did it - but I'd be happy to try grouping, but if not I will happily provide some food, potions, and repair kits to help out. Mail me in game (same username as on the forum!) if you are on NA/PC and want help, I will do so in any way I am able.

IIRC this quest would be taken in the upper 40s to 50 range of PC play.

While i remember it as described above, sequenced single atro not two at once, seems to me most characters at that level should have at least decent gear, sets and skills available and be able to handle it even if two appear esp with just normal levels of knowledge of roll/dodge, block, interrupt.

barring more info on build specifics, cannot asses the particulars but while challenging two storm atros at levels approaching 50 should be manageable solo with average play.
