Defiler Buff Inbound?

A player in-game said Defilers set will be buffed again. I can't find any post on that. It currently sux, so I'm hopeful the news is true.

Bummer. I might have been scammed then, because I bought a ring off of the guy based upon that info. I wrote players name down, so I'll try and communicate with him. Maybe the player was just mistaken. Hope so.

The set is so bad, 9 out of 10 procs it will deal no damage and that is in pve, it deals ~4k dmg, seems to be reduced by spell resistances , the hunger needs 4 of the 5 sec to start its vomit attack and seems to attack the furthes enemy all the time.

yeah the problem is the pet is too slow and doesnt hit alot so i think they should up the damage again...in pvp it will be dodged anyway

The pet (hunger) does a venom attack in a cone of ~5 meters. So basically your pet is dealing melee damage to the closest target. For PvE it isn't that great for trash, for boss fights combat metrics says it doesn't fail. Tried it a few times with random non add bosses. Seems flawless.

For PvP or PvE trash fight/bosses with adds I suggest another set.

About the buff, I don't know. Doesn't seem to be true as Morrowind is just released.

Well it was heavily nerved right before release...40%...too much as i pointed out the , and very random.... i think right in the middle between 6000 and 10000 damage would be the sweet spot, so 8000

In my defense, someone posted a price check in zone and I paid under the lowest amount. So I didn't overpay, I just wouldn't have bought it had I known this lackluster set was gonna stay lackluster. And if you are gonna lol at somebody at least have the decency to spell the most critical word in your diss! "Infomercial" ya scrub!

8k sounds nice, i do think it was hit a little too hard but that's just by the sound of it since you do have only a cchance to proc on crit and crits themselves are base don chance.
