The day this happened:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOaEcQVFQl0

Templars knew, they were ***.

And it happened in Morrowind, yay! And worst news is that I feel alone in the forums, templars used to be such a high and popular player base commenting on the forums and defending the class. We had one last stand in the last nerfs but ZoS completely and absoultely ignored us and now, we're done. Best Templars players (and no i'm not talking about Deltia, he's just 1 more) are gone from the game, people is playing and exploring new classes at the moment, even if they mained for long. It's a sad time for us.

Been a Templar main since 2014, this update won't change it. I will learn to adapt.

I've seen plenty of my friends who main Templars keep playing them.

Just because the Streamers and YouTubers follow the current best damage meta doesn't mean the class is dead for everyone.

If you're trying to be "the best" it would be dumb to limit yourself to a single class any way, as the way MMO balance works there will be ups and downs for each class in the "best" rankings.

Those that actually love and care about Templars will keep playing them regardless, if they not maybe they didn't love Templar as much as they loved being higher up the rankings.

I will concede there are some good points to be made about the changes, but I think this "Templars are dead" thing is kind of not holding up considering people are still playing them.

Yes me too, but what's with this attitude? You think it helps the class? It makes you feel comfortable? "I've been nerfed to hell but I still love my class and keep playing it" okay, me too, i am also trying to adapt, but if we don't react class will continue being non-competitive, you might not give a *** but I do. Or will you go ranged templar? Like the class is designed for that... If you're going to play ranged, go play a sorcerer, they are way better on ranged.

We main them because we like the class i havent' left playing templar, never did since the very start of the game. This doesn't change the fact that we're underpowered compared to others.

If you want to help your class, and that's what you really want.

Theory craft, make builds, highlight weakness, make graphs and charts and comparisons with parses.

Start my making a thread identifying where you think the class is weak, why it's weak, ways to bring it more up to par with others. Also you can't just say "undo all the nerfs!" because that's not how things works.

I main Templart and honestly only thing that changed is radiant aura on bar in place of a dot. Sustain overall unchanged. Dps change minimal.

We've been doing this for years, there's been a lot of feedback. I did do provide feedback on PTS forums. There has been feedback provided in youtube and everywhere. Nobody cared. I need to work in real life like most of us so I won't be spending more time doing charts and stuff mostly because they've been already been done.

Imagine sorc's tears when they get nerfed :3

The thing is, everyone should try to be constructive, both ZOS and the players. Like, you guys can sit down, say, "listen ZOS, I think Templar needs more CC". "I think you should give us back Repentance". "What about buffing Shard's CC capability". But, it has to go both ways. What I don't like about ZoS is that the communication between the devs and the players is lackluster. Look at Blizzard and how they handle Overwatch: sometimes the community asks for something very stupid, like buffing certain heroes that shouldn't be buffed, but, Jeff Kaplan, the producer of the game, makes posts on the forum, he says things like "Look, guys, this hero shouldn't be buffed right now, because of this reason, that reason". It creates a certain level of trust between the devs and the players. When the players see something unusual, they make threads about it on the forum, but everyone is like "umm there should be some reasons why the devs do this, so let's see how they explain it". Such a thing doesn't exist in this game. For example, giving an ability to feed stamina to the group to non-Templar healer is a great change for the game, but the devs didn't explain their vision well enough, so the forum was drown in all the whinny "ZOS killed Templar healers", "I made a Templar healer because Templar #1 healer", and guess what, all of those are proven to be false, Templar healers are still the best healers. It's the fault from both sides.

Despite all the tears, right now Magplars are still strong, they are less effective, sure, but has it ever come to your mind that they may used to be a little bit too effective? Thing is, this goes both sides, ZoS should learn from Blizzard: communicate with players. You don't have enough people to do that? Well, hire one person (or two) who can do such a thing, with all the money from Morrowind, certainly you can afford one more person to your team.

Love Templar more than before Morrowind. It's made a whole lot of other things worth considering and I don't feel weakened or strengthened and if I run out of resources its my own fault. (note that i don't raid do trials or farm vet anything)
