Mini games please?

The farm is old. Farm xp. Grind up skills. Farm sky shards. Farm cp. Farm gear. Farm telvar. Farm ap. Do pledges to stack up keys for a chance at a bunch of junk from a pledge chest. Farm vouchers. Farm, farm, farm. New patch comes out. Do it all again.

Can we please get some more social things that don't involve farming or crown store? How about an ES card game? Some form of in game racing? Pet raising? A game to be played in the yard of our giganta mansion we so dutifully purchased? Why not some of the fun drunken games we saw during quests? I'm not complaining because I dislike the game. I like ESO and would like it to stay alive and kicking for some time. I just feel it is lacking in some areas that could really help break up the monotony. The game should be equal parts character progression and building, exploration and solo play, but also some social, fun activities not related to pledges, trials, grinding, etc, etc. Something purely just to waste time if you wish.

I agree with you OP. I love ESO and everything it offers. But as you say, farm, farm, farm. It would be awesome if we could interact more. With NPC's, pets, or other stuff I don't have in mind now. Like, I would like to have some other things you could do in the game. What about hanging out with friends in an Inn? Having maids n stuff in your house(s)? Or Fishing Skill Line. I miss social activities in ESO tbh.

Runescape, back when it was good years ago, had a bunch of fun mini games and other stuff to do with other people. ESO's lack of that kind of thing is definately part of why I can only keep myself interested in the game for like one month at a time..

Personally I love minigames, and kinda wish even every resouce farming was a minigame - play well for more resources, fail the game and no resources (and wouldn't that annoy the farming bots?).

But more then that, I would love to see tavern minigames come to tamriel!
Like... have a pool of a dozend possible taverngames, and have two in every major tavern... one to be played against ta NPC, and one for player-vs-player fun! Stuff like arm wrestling, card games, dartboards, drinking contests, dice games, danceoffs, magical illusion tug of war, whatever!
Done in a nice mix across the lands, so for example in this tavern you might find a cardgame against NPCs and a arm wrestling table for players to use, while in that tavern you might find an arm wrestling NPC champion to beat and a dartboard to challenge players, while in the tavern over there you might find a NPC dice roller and a card table for player fun...

What devs see - Players want mini games.

What marketing sees - Players like the idea of our current mini game(crown crates) and want more just like it.
