Warden Nature's Embrace and the bear pet

I used to be able to use Nature's Embrace (last skill in Warden's Green Balance tree) on my pet. The bear was highlighted with that blue glow you see when looking at allied players. The blue glow is now gone and I can't use the ability (or morphs, or base skill) on the bear. This was a lovely addition to an otherwise underpowered and difficult to use (but still fun!) ability, and I'd be sad to find this was intentional.

Can anyone confirm this is or isn't an intended change?

Didn't I read somewhere they changed the skill to not work on like critters running around. Like people were porting to torching n squirrels. It was unintended so when they fixed that it might have made porting to the bear a no go

Ah, appreciated. Though I'd still be boggled as to the reasoning behind that change if it is indeed the case - does it really matter if people are porting to squirrels? Unless there's one hanging out on a keep wall, though then that'd be another issue.

Hopefully they can make an exception for the bear. The thing could use some indirect buffs.
